FIELD MANUAL // STATE PROTOCOLS
S172 State Rules
The practical rules that keep our own state from becoming the easiest target on the map.
Core principle: Don't farm your own state. There are plenty of other states available for bad decisions.
Trucks, Mines & Bounties
- S172 trucks, mines and melee mines are off-limits.
- Avoid S172 bounty missions.
- Travel to other states for plunder and bounty targets.
- Use the truck filters where available to avoid accidentally targeting 172.
Farm Protection
- Farm accounts HQ24 and below are protected.
- Protected farms should include “farm” in the account name.
- Farms are neutral and should remain shielded during Buster/SVS where appropriate.
Looting
Unbound HQs may be looted. Bound HQs should not be attacked. When in doubt, check before turning somebody into a state-mail topic.
Shield Discipline
- Use a 24-hour shield if you'll be AFK during Buster/SVS.
- Players occupying exposed areas should shield around reset as required.
- Farms should stay protected during Buster/SVS.
Capital & Turrets
- Do not attack the Capital during alliance rotation.
- Turret activity follows the current rotation plan and alliance-admin direction.
- If you're unsure whether you should hit something: ask first. Cheaper than apologizing later.
